Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.

Visitor statistics

To understand how many people visit this site, we use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It counts page views without cookies and without following you across other websites. It briefly processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the page you came from to tell visits apart, but it does not store your IP address or build a profile of you. We only see aggregated numbers. Details are in the GoatCounter privacy policy. This processing rests on our legitimate interest in knowing whether the website is being read (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

What personal data we collect

We only receive personal data when you choose to send it to us:

  • Evaluation-request form. When you request an evaluation of our IP, we ask for your name, role, work email, company, and optionally your target application and technical details. We use this information solely to respond to your request and set up the evaluation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to entering into a contract).
  • Job applications. When you apply for a position through our careers pages, we ask for your name, contact details, location, education, availability, right to work, links to your CV and profiles, and your answers to role-specific questions. We use this information solely to assess your application and run the hiring process (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to entering into a contract, and your consent given when submitting the form). We also send you an email confirming that your application arrived.
  • Email. If you email us directly, we process your address and message content to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in handling correspondence).

We keep this data only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up business relationship, and delete it when it is no longer required. Application data of candidates we do not hire is deleted no later than 4 weeks after the position is filled, unless you give us consent to keep it on file for up to one year for future openings.

Service providers we use

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States, EU infrastructure available) runs the endpoint that receives our website forms (evaluation requests and job applications) and passes submissions on to us by email. Form data is processed in transit and not stored by us on Cloudflare. See the Cloudflare privacy policy. Transfers are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., United States; we use their EU region) delivers the form submissions to us by email and the confirmation email to you. See the Resend privacy policy. Transfers are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • GitHub, Inc. (United States) hosts this website via GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may log technical data such as your IP address when serving pages. See the GitHub privacy statement.
  • Google LLC. Some organiser logos on our events page are loaded from Google's favicon service, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when that page loads. See the Google privacy policy.

We do not sell or share your personal data for marketing purposes.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email info@ximplic.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or our services evolve. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
