Engineeringnet covers Ximplic: computing directly in memory for energy-efficient AI
Belgian engineering magazine Engineeringnet takes a close look at how Ximplic runs AI computations inside the memory itself. On a conventional chip, shuttling data between processor and memory eats up to 90% of the energy an AI model uses. Cutting that movement out means wearables, medical devices and smart sensors can run far longer on a charge, and the data never has to leave the device.
